Children - Swimming Contest
Saturday and Sunday took place in the basin "Lia Manoliu" a swimming contest for children 10 years organized by the Municipal Swimming Bucharest. What can I say, year after year fewer children are eager to practice swimming performance in Bucharest. I blame it mostly lack of material. The irony: one Olympic-sized pool in Bucharest. And more likely to be closed after it leaves the Beijing Olympics!
Although one need no longer swimming in Bucharest? But do not worry: my father told me that the opening of the Olympic Complex Izvorani (where, incidentally, was still not built basin ...) Mr. Minister has promised 70 pools. All my father made a simple mathematical calculation shows that 10% of these would be built in Bucharest ... Why? 22 million people in Romania, about 2.2 million live in Bucharest ... Does anyone think will be built seven pools (at least 25 m) in Bucharest? I, for one is skeptical, and do not know why!
